Stage Conversion Rates
Stage Conversion Rates: Conversion rate between each pipeline stage.
Formula
Stage Conversion = Opportunities advancing to next stage / Opportunities in stage × 100 Computable definition
The canonical formula in the GASP formula grammar. The MCP server compiles it to SQL over the datasets listed below.
count_distinct(field.opportunity_id where field.advanced_to_next_stage = true) / count_distinct(field.opportunity_id) Unit: percent (the formula yields an unscaled ratio)
Notes: Evaluate per stage by filtering field.stage to the stage of interest.
Data requirements
Grain: Weekly snapshot · Frequency: Weekly · Aggregation: snapshot (week) · Staged: no · Main source: CRM.
| Field | Dataset | Type |
|---|---|---|
advanced_to_next_stage | opportunity | boolean |
opportunity_id | opportunity | string |
snapshot_date | opportunity | date |
Example SQL (Postgres)
SELECT (CAST((SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT opportunity_id) FROM opportunity WHERE snapshot_date = :period_end AND advanced_to_next_stage = TRUE) AS DOUBLE PRECISION) / NULLIF((SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT opportunity_id) FROM opportunity WHERE snapshot_date = :period_end), 0)) AS stage_conversion_rates From an agent: with the GASP MCP server, call
lookup_metric({ "name": "Stage Conversion Rates" }) or generate_query({ "metric": "Stage Conversion Rates", "adapter": "<your adapter JSON>" }).
