Rework Rate

Rework Rate: Percentage of deliverables requiring rework.

Formula

Rework Rate = Deliverables reworked / Total deliverables × 100

Computable definition

The canonical formula in the GASP formula grammar. The MCP server compiles it to SQL over the datasets listed below.

count_distinct(field.deliverable_id where field.reworked = true) / count_distinct(field.deliverable_id)

Unit: percent (the formula yields an unscaled ratio)

Data requirements

Grain: Weekly snapshot · Frequency: Weekly · Aggregation: snapshot (week) · Staged: no · Main source: PSA.

Field Dataset Type
deliverable_id deliverable string
reworked deliverable boolean
snapshot_date deliverable date
Example SQL (Postgres)
SELECT (CAST((SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT deliverable_id) FROM deliverable WHERE snapshot_date = :period_end AND reworked = TRUE) AS DOUBLE PRECISION) / NULLIF((SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT deliverable_id) FROM deliverable WHERE snapshot_date = :period_end), 0)) AS rework_rate

From an agent: with the GASP MCP server, call lookup_metric({ "name": "Rework Rate" }) or generate_query({ "metric": "Rework Rate", "adapter": "<your adapter JSON>" }).
