Session Attendance Rate
Session Attendance Rate: Percentage of scheduled onboarding sessions attended.
Formula
Attendance Rate = Sessions attended / Sessions scheduled × 100 Computable definition
The canonical formula in the GASP formula grammar. The MCP server compiles it to SQL over the datasets listed below.
count(field.onboarding_session_date where field.attendees > 0) / count(field.onboarding_session_date) Unit: percent (the formula yields an unscaled ratio)
Notes: A session counts as attended when at least one attendee is recorded.
Data requirements
Grain: Per event, aggregate monthly · Frequency: Daily · Aggregation: aggregate (month) · Staged: no · Main source: CS Platform.
| Field | Dataset | Type |
|---|---|---|

Example SQL (Postgres)
SELECT (CAST((SELECT COUNT(onboarding_session_date) FROM onboarding_session WHERE onboarding_session_date >= :period_start AND onboarding_session_date <= :period_end AND attendees > 0) AS DOUBLE PRECISION) / NULLIF((SELECT COUNT(onboarding_session_date) FROM onboarding_session WHERE onboarding_session_date >= :period_start AND onboarding_session_date <= :period_end), 0)) AS session_attendance_rate From an agent: with the GASP MCP server, call
lookup_metric({ "name": "Session Attendance Rate" }) or generate_query({ "metric": "Session Attendance Rate", "adapter": "<your adapter JSON>" }).
