Executive Sponsor Coverage

Executive Sponsor Coverage: The percentage of active accounts with an engaged contact whose role is executive sponsor.

Formula

Exec Sponsor Coverage = Accounts with an engaged executive sponsor contact / Active accounts × 100

Computable definition

The canonical formula in the GASP formula grammar. The MCP server compiles it to SQL over the datasets listed below.

count_distinct(field.customer_id where field.contact_role = 'executive_sponsor' and field.contact_engaged = true) / count_distinct(field.customer_id where field.customer_status = 'active')

Unit: percent (the formula yields an unscaled ratio)

Notes: Numerator counts accounts with at least one engaged contact whose role is executive_sponsor on the contact snapshot at period end. Denominator is active accounts; restrict to managed accounts by filtering the population.

What It Tells You

Whether you have a senior relationship at each account. Accounts with an engaged sponsor tend to hold up better at renewal.
